How the ranking works

In plain language: which results count, what each round is worth and when a new list is published.

Which tournaments award points

Only sanctioned tournaments award ranking points: international, national, regional, junior, amateur tour and club events approved by the federation. The level decides how much each round is worth.

Social events, open days, friendlies and training camps award no ranking points.

Points table

Points by level and the round you reached. Losing in a round gives that round’s points; the winner gets the title points.

How many results count

In every category, all results inside the 52-week window count. There is no best-N cap yet, so every tournament you play can only add points.

Doubles: an individual ranking

Doubles rankings are individual, not per pair. Both partners receive the full points for the round the pair reached, each in their own men’s, women’s or mixed doubles ranking. If you change partners, your points stay with you.

The 52-week window

Each list covers the 52 weeks before its publication date. A result counts in full for 52 weeks and then no longer counts in the next list.

There is no gradual decay: a result is worth the same in week 1 and in week 52.

Equal points

When two players have the same points, these rules decide the order, one after the other:

Who is listed

Every result in a sanctioned event counts for the list of its discipline and age group. Grade-split amateur events score into the Open list.

Players under 13 are not listed publicly. Their results still count and appear once they turn 13.

Levels (A–E and hobby) are separate from the ranking and decide which events you may enter: What’s my level?

Publication schedule

Lists are published on the Monday after each tournament and cover the previous 52 weeks. Every list carries its year, week and publication date, and every past week keeps its own permanent address.
